How To Help
Clear lake City Water Authority (CLCWA) plans to spend $30 million dollars to destroy the largest passive park in the Bay Area. A loss of 3,000 trees, loss of wildlife habitats which includes up to 50 different species of birds will be the result of their actions.
We, the undersigned, want:
1. The CLCWA to decrease the volume of water capacity. The volume of detention ratio should be drastically reduced from one acre/foot.
2. All existing trees of 8” or larger caliper (diameter) to be left undisturbed.
3. All existing ponds to be left undisturbed.
4. All existing walking paths left in place and improved.
By signing this petition, you will save the beauty of the area for ourselves and future generations.
